They still think it’s appendicitis but won’t operate as it’s high risk . I *might* get home tomorrow or Sunday , frankly antibiotics and morphine I can dose myself at home and actually get some rest which is impossible on the wards.
Just feeling grumpy through sleep deprivation more than anything.
I gave up trying to sleep at all when I was in hospital. I used to Sapp my friend in Florida and read my Kindle. The nurses actually remarked on how little sleep I needed. This was not true it was just so bloody noisy.

Hope you sorted soon, take care x

Sandra your leg of lamb has made me laugh
It reminded me of my Mother telling the story of the first time she cooked a leg of lamb
For my grandparents she made dad saw it in half when asked by my grandmother why ( granny was a cook in a big big house ) she replied but you did Granny’s answer no it was just the good half I kept from the big house we ate and we had a small oven
duchy hope you are better soon

I had forgotten how much I like cold lamb, I always make a shepherds pie with our leftovers. It's my favourite meal.

Remember going to pick the kids up from an overnighter at my grandparents house and our eldest had had seven slices of toast and dripping for his breakfast.

I deliberately buy a joint big enough for left overs especially when it's just us. Really fancy lamb now but we are having a healthy poached salmon tonight as we are out all weekend and that won't be healthy food.
