The question is already well answered.

Obvious tips when booking Discovery Cove (if you have not been).

1. Book it on a weekend as the park has very limited admission (1500?). And it’s a good time to do it when the other parks are rammed solid with guests.

2. Do it early, so that if you get rained off, you still have time to get a rearranged date.

3. Eat early and early lunch, then getting a third meal just before you go.

4 if Dolphin swimming, do it as early as possible. Trainers assert that the Dolphins get less interested as the day goes on.

5. You get your best underwater photos on the grand reef, early in the day.
a) There is not so much sunlight in the water.
b) The bottom has not been churned up, clouding the water.

6. A good spot to aim for is over the little bridge and in front of the waterfall that flows off the roof of the tunnel entrance to the lazy river..
advantages..
a) It is a very much quieter area.
b) There is a drink and snacks stall right next to you.
c) likewise the toilets.
d) it is next to the entrance to the Lazy River.
e) It is very close to the animal encounter tent (see programme on the day).
f) it is close to the restaurant.
g) it is close to the Marmosets, Aviary and Otters.
h) if you have eyesight issues, you can order prescription face masks (my wife did and I believe that they are free).

Disadvantage.
a) it is a fair way to the grand reef.

Hoping all this helps on what for us, is inevitably the best day of the Orlando phase of our vacations.
