Hi.
DW wants her hair and nails done on our cruise (Anthem of the Seas) She was wondering if anyone on the Dibb knows how much is usual to tip the stylist?

The payment you make has an 18% tip added to it.

Thanks for your quick reply. I did'nt realise that there was an 18% tip added. So does that mean we should'nt add another tip as well?

That is a completely different question and becomes a tipping question. These never end well. People hold strong opinions of many different types. What is certain that a large percentage feel the other viewpoints are of course completely wrong and deserve to be punished.

Just have a look at cruise forums for tipping questions. Don't forget your popcorn.

I would suggest 18% is sufficient unless you think the service was exceptional.

Yes, when I think about it, 18% on top of the price of hair and nails is probably more than enough.

It does throw you if you don't know. Middle child last time decided he was going to get his hair cut on the ship. It got added to his room so of course i ended up paying.

Normal cost for a haircut for him at home was at the time �8. royal Caribbean were �40+ for the cut and a �6 tip added.

Very very expensive! I always get mine done beforehand, not only is it expensive but then they add tip, and then they try and tell you your face is crumbling and you need �1000 worth of products! 🤣
