The views at the top look amazing. What a great day considering lots of it was on the road.

The tramway was one of the highlights of the trip. Glad you're enjoying the report.

Looking forward to reading about your San Diego stay - every time I read someone's report it sounds a nice place to visit. Your hotel looks nice with a great view.
We loved both the tramway and San Diego.

I can highly recommend the tramway - a great way to spend a few hours.

Looks like you had a great start to your San Diego visit- love me some Buffalo Wild Wings! The view from your room at the Island Palms was gorgeous.
It was cooler at the top, but still very warm by our standards!

Your dinner looked very good.
We love a trip to B-Dubs!

Yet another reason we need to get back over to the West Coast!
Ah, it's a shame you weren't able to get there, but like you say, a reason to go back!

We were told it's a chilly 55F at the top, so that will be a normal spring day for us then, we left with a "crazy Brits" ringing in our ears. We did have hoodys in our bags but weren't letting on.
There were a few people up there wearing more layers than us!

Palm Springs was one of my highlights. We spent a bit more time there and went off on quite the little trek around the longest trail (but not off the trail). The views all around were awesome and it was so refreshing enjoying the cooler temperature in the height of summer there! We could have done with more water though for the climb back up to the tram station (paved but all uphill) as there are no cafes out that way 😳😀. Cool drinks all around when we reached the station (there was a wedding up there on the day we visited, wow what views&#128077

That cactus! Looks like it needs to get itself to Jazzercise!

Stunning views from the top of the mountain, what a treat.

Hotel looks lovely - we’re very interested in the San Diego part of your trip….

The end of your night sounds blissful

The tramway is a great experience. Walking round once at the top was wonderful. So peaceful. Brings back lots of memories.

Have been to Best Western Island Palms twice and absolutely love the place. Watching jets taking off from the base over the water will stay with is for a long time. The noise is out of this world!

Really enjoying your reports.
