Anyone else’s Xmas dinner numbers dwindling?

Had mine a week early! Last sunday, 9 of us, I was exhausted after all the cooking and cleaning so looking forward to a relaxing and chilled day on the 25th. Just the 2 of us.
Steak and chips, and glass of fizz and a movie! Bliss!

Back to just mum and I. Her ggd tested positive, just as she came out of isolation yesterday her ggs and gd tested positive!

The reality of this thread is sad, I hope that everyone gets to have a celebration at some point. We’re testing Christmas morning before getting together so holding my breath.

We are all testing before going to my mums on Christmas day too. My sister, her partner and son are coming so we are testing to keep mason safe 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We are 6 down to 4 as DS and partner have both tested positive.

They have decided to isolate to protect my 93 year old Mum, whom we are having Xmas Dinner with at her house Xmas day lunchtime.
