Ooh, bit late seeing this. This is the one issue I struggle with in Japan, so it's interesting seeing stuff like this. We had a trip planned and most of it revolved around hunting down vegan options!

Sadly I think it will be a long long time before we get to go back. Our trip was postponed numerous times and now just leaving it cancelled. The border situation was a minor concern compared to the current global issue. Saw today that all ANA and JAL flights to/from Europe are cancelled for the foreseeable.

Hope I get to complete my trip in the future.
