2nd question please, If I am booking the tickets and paying for them. I am the DVC member.
Can the other members of my party get the discounts too - hubby, mum and 2 kids even if they are not members? How many people can I admit on my membership?

We have both contracts, however my discount card was a blue (not the white card originally) which is for a direct sale thinking about it.
When you get into the US mde, it says 2 option for dvc etc and non dvc. As my dvc card is already linked to mde, it worked and got the $10 pp off.

Not sure how many you can add, but we've bought 2 tickets for ourselves (dvc members) and another 2 for family who aren't dvc.

well I've booked 5 tickets in the end the info said "you must show a valid disney membership ID at the park entrance" as opposed to a blue badge so I do have a membership ID, I just hope I can include the other guests too

It’s tricky as others seem to think valid membership is a Bluecard but it is open to interpretation because white card members could just show they’re contract membership on MDE

I had a letter when I joined which gave me a membership number and called it a member ID and took a screenshot of the requirements - if they meant it for blue card holders only they should have specified that. I'm confident that I can give it a good argument that I have a valid member ID :-) I'm more worried about how many tickets I can buy with discount on that membership to be honest

My dvc account appears on mde under passes and I've set up my magic mobile. It shows my eligibility for discount and the qr code. There's a whole other thread abt this on dvc section! Pleased you got your tickets 😃
