Pasta Salad Recipe

Does anyone have a really nice recipe for pasta salad that they wouldn't mind sharing please.
We are hosting a Jubilee BBQ and for sides I am going to do a large salad platter, a mango salsa, baby garlic potatoes and wanted a pasta salad to go along side.
I have seen lots online but would prefer one that someone can recommend if possible. Many thanks!

I make one
Bow tie pasta
Banana Peppers if you can get them
Bell pepper
Red onion
Motarella little balls of it
Olives
Crispy procetto
Cherry tomatoes
Boil the pasta
Either grill or fry the bacon till crispy
Crumble the bacon
Toss it all together and add your favourite Italian dressing
Keeps 3/4 days in the fridge so great to make the night before
No exact amounts just what i think we will eat i also serve it as a lunch with a nice Italian bread

Not a pasta salad but a rice one that always goes down well when I make it for a buffet.

100g Long Grain Rice (approx)
1 Small Can Pineapple pieces in natural juice
1 Small Can Mandarin Orange Segments
½ a Cucumber
1 Red Apple
Mayonnaise (Hellmans or similar) to taste – at least 3 heaped tablespoons

Method

1 Boil the long grain rice as directed – rinse thoroughly first in boiling water to remove excess starch, then rinse several times in cold water – leave to cool
2 Drain the pineapple pieces reserving the juice
3 Drain the mandarin orange segments – chop the larger segments in half
4 Slice the cucumber into approx ¾ inch slices then cube
5 Mix the pineapple juice with Mayonnaise
6 Chop the apple into chunks (similar size to cucumber and pineapple pieces)
7 Toss the apple pieces in the mayonnaise and pineapple juice mixture to prevent the apple going brown.
8 Add all the ingredients together in a large bowl – stirring gently to mix.
9 Cover with cling film and place the mixture in the refrigerator until well chilled.

Please note this is not an exact recipe you can adjust it according to your own taste. I sometimes add a few well rinsed sultanas as well.

I boil the pasta, add pesto sauce when cold then chuck in any chopped salad bits I fancy or have lying around. And oregano that always seems to add a little Je ne sais quoi.

I made one last week that was lovely and sampled/given the seal of approval by everyone working in the polling station I was at .

Roast baby tomatoes with garlic, salt, black pepper and olive oil. Once cooked remove and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

Add to cooked pasta with either torn mozzarella or burrata, fresh basil and some pine nuts (you could leave these out).

Gorgeous!

I don't know why (possibly because of so many of my family being that way inclined) but I ways think both pasta and rice salads should be veggy.

throw in what you have in the cupboard/fridge.

i like adding any/all:

sun dried tomato chopped up fine
capers
olives
thinly sliced onion
quartered baby tomato
lettuce
grated carrot and beetroot
sweetcorn
and a squeeze of lemon/lime juice
