MVMCP Plan
hi everyone,
Just wondering how much you can realistically manage to do at the Christmas party events? As in how many rides could we possibly do? What I'm trying to work out is whether I could book us tickets to the event rather than having a day here as it would save us money plus allow us to experience the event. Obviously though if we wouldn't get to ride much and it would be crazy busy then we can just do a normal day. Thought it best to ask those who have been. Thanks guys |

Rides are walk ons most days , we are going the first day and I know media now gets invited which it never did before so will add to the crowd . But otherwise we’ve never had a problem and got everything done .

It depends on what you want to do/see. The parade, show and fireworks all followed each other for mvmcp, so we sat for about 2 hours (having got a good seat), from 8pm until 9.30ish. It was incredibly busy so imagine that would be the best time for the rides. We managed everything we wanted, especially if you plan on staying until closing. The second parade was much quieter.

Oh you must do it if only to get a photo with the 7 Dwarves (get in queue early for it) & I won't put a spoiler on here but do be on Main Street for at least one of the parades for a rare occurrence in Florida !
Rides were very short lines when we did it & I am so glad with did.

You can enter at 4pm for the party starting at 7pm. Castle lighting is amazing as well.

Getting Excited
|
We started to queue for jack and sally at 4:30. Yes it was 2 1/2 hours, but we were one of the first in queue and they started to let people in around half 6. This meant we were out by 7, which is then when we walked up the side of Main Street for the start of the many cookies we collected. They didn’t show jack and sally on the mde app but they were in town square( where you meet Mickey). This meant we didn’t any of the party time up waiting for the longest queued character. When we got out it showed a 3 hour queue still - so you would have been there waiting for a character and get nothing else done from 7-10 when the fun begins!
We hit most of the characters that evening and a few rides. I would say do the main rides first as everyone’s in the queues for characters and then when the first parades on go over to 7Ds in story-brook. We only waited 20 mins as everyone was out watching the parades. It started to get quiet after that so we got some photos with Judy and nick and then found a spot for fireworks. We watched the second parade by the bridge over to Liberty Sq and then went up the side of the castle when everyone was trying to leave to jump on 7DMT which again was 30 mins wait tops. We kind of went with the flow and didn’t have a plan of attack. Just take a good sized backpack for lots of cookies! Here’s from last year incase it helps planning
