Hot tub - please help!

Hi
We have had a hot tub for a few weeks now - all was going great using the Chemical granulated stuff. I used the tablets for first time yesterday, used the Chen connector that fits on the warm air thing by the filter, I added 3 tablets (clear water 4 in one type). The chlorine levels are really high today! We have a blow up Paris lazy spa - any suggestions to help lower the levels? Is 3 tablets too much for a 800 LTR spa? There’s no instructions on the tablet tub

Our hot tub takes 1100 litres and we use 3 bromine tablets in one of those space ship looking dispensers, is that what you mean?

Do you have any chlorine shock? If so put some of that in, otherwise a partial water change will lower it.

Thanks - I have chlorine stabiliser grans (Clearwater ones) is that what you mean? Wouldn’t that higher it even more?

Also have the Clearwater ph minus but don’t think that reduces the chlorine, or does it?

I think it does. That us very much DH role but I seem to recall that’s what he does.
We have the a Palm Springs but never put 3 tablets in, just the 1 and it’s always reading correct.

Might just empty it and start over. I want to clean the awning above it so I suppose it being out the way will help. We wanted to use it tonight - think that idea is out of the window if we have to empty and refill :/

Too much chlorine could damage the seals. Can always add chlorine if not enough.
