Anyone thinking of going Disney world this summer?

Really want to go for my 30th birthday in July for 3 weeks. Obviously not going to book anything yet god knows what’s going to happen. Anyone else planning a trip?

Was initially planning to go in May, now looking at end of September maybe. But I want a normal experience, especially as I'm going with some first timers. Not booking anything as of yet though.

Im booked for 23rd Sep
Only flights paid out for
All hotels able to be cancelled - part DVC / part Booking. Com with no upfront payment.
All tickets carried over from this year.

Its a solo trip and Im retired, so changing if necessary will be done without too much trouble, but fingers crossed in 8.5 months time, this thing is under control x

Lots have booked, including us - three weeks from the end of July into mid-August.

I'd put the chances of it happening at about 20/80 (ie pretty unlikely) right now.

A lot of ducks have to line up, on both sides of the Atlantic.

I'm looking at next year and I'm not even convinced about that... It's not just the UK it's the US...it's the world... Hoping but not hopeful if that makes sense

Restrictions, masks, no fast passes, no dining plan and new rides cancelled means 2021 is out for me (at least for Disney). May look in to Universal if things improve

There is nothing to say that the restrictions won’t go away if things get better this year though. Disney are already pushing boundaries and opening more up even though cases in the US are getting worse.

Not summer, September is the earliest I can contemplate and so I have booked that. But even then I am not that confident.

I have booked NY for the weekend Edinburgh schools break up at the end of June then thought of travelling on to Orlando or Pigeon Forge. I know United have started testing on their London routes so expect this to become commonplace after Easter.

I was quite positive about September when the news of the vaccine came out , but I’m only 50/50 now as I think we won’t be vaccinated for ages yet 😞
