If you purchase anything from iTunes they usually send you a receipt, but you only have something from PayPal? Is your iTunes account linked to PayPal? Could be an in app purchase that wasn’t clear it was chargeable, or maybe a yearly subscription charge. Hope you get to the bottom of it, I hate it when things like this happen, but they usually have a valid explanation (DH buying things and not realising usually).

I get this quite often - it’s a scam!

These scam emails go around all the time, I have them nearly every week.

Just a heads up if you want to check the email is a scam, just click on the from details of the e-mail, it will show the email address its been sent from, it's usually an obscure email address, which has nothing to do with Apple.

I had an email last weekend showing my bill, looking at the sender it said apps store instead of app store which also made me think it was dodgy, main thing though I don't purchase with a credit or debit card on my ipad when using app store I use an iTunes card which I credit every so often

Send the email to spoof@paypal.com and they will investigate. They are really good with these types of things. Also, I didn’t think you could use paypal for iTunes so that would alert me although I may be wrong.
I never put my credit card info into iTunes to try and avoid my card getting hacked. I buy iTunes vouchers and load them onto my account to use for apps, music etc
