We flew in the bubble there and back in 2010 and loved it. Our flight in 2014 was on a reconfigured plane which had economy in the bubble so we were in Row 19 downstairs. For next year we've got the bubble to MCO and Row 18 home. Personally, I'd always go with the bubble where possible - especially the first row seats (my son is only 16 but is already on his way to 6' so will need the extra leg room).

Getting off early is a nice perk but after the cock up on our 2014 flight, not something I bank on (we were delayed on the apron due to storm and then, once allowed to disembark, the door at the end (into customs) was still shut and wasn't opened for another 20 minutes by which time the two other planes from the UK had landed and disembarked meaning we were in a massive cue!)

I usually only fly PE due to being a tall guy, I value the extra space.

I've read about people singing praises for the bubble - and I just tried it (got back last week). Hated it. Absolutely hated it. There's far less room up there, and you can feel it - I found service from attendants in general to be lacking -- less drinks rounds and overall presence. Also missed the hot towel towards landing for cleaning up. Overhead lockers couldn't fit a backpack - and the storage space next to the window seat couldn't fit one either. I don't have a particularly big backpack - certainly within 'carry on' size. Luckily the seat behind me was empty, so I strapped it in there. Never had these problems downstairs.

I'll still fly PE, but I'll be doing it downstairs, the whole bubble thing is way over-rated. Once and done for me.

Edited at 10:05 PM.

One thing that bugs me, is on a 8 hour flight and yes I know its Florida.. but screaming kids the whole 9 hours! Had this in 2012 when I went and had two children in front of me who were screaming whole flight.

Went in 2015 and had no kids YAY! In the bubble.

let's hope next year when we go theres no kids.

It's not so much the kids that bother me it's the parents that ignore their badly behaved children.

I had one flight where the parents were more interested in their drinks rather than the kids who were kicking the seat in front. When someone complained to them they said they were allowed to enjoy their holidays as much as the next people and didn't want to spend it shouting at their kids!

There are plenty of well behaved kids out there before anyone thinks I'm against families going to Florida

Downstairs - a bit more room, off the plane first, better storage space.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit - but i thought that the bubble disembarked after first class but before downstairs. Is this not the case ? We're in the bubble for our trip in October and were hoping to be off before the queue started in imigration.

That was the case in 2010 but, of course, times change so I can't say that's the case now.

I think the order for disembarkation is first class, premium economy downstairs, economy upstairs, premium economy upstairs, and economy downstairs last.

The correct order to disembark should be;
Row 25 in economy first (to clear the passengers from the exit)
Downstairs PE
Downstairs Business Class (UC)
Upstairs economy
Upstairs PE
Downstairs economy.

I don’t think Upper Class can get off until downstairs PE have cleared the way.
