Distrikt Hotel New York
Anyone got any reviews on the Distrikt Hotel think we have narrowed it down for our October stay and just wondering if anyone has stayed here.
Thanks

I stayed there 12 months ago. Location is a few minutes walk from TS, street isn’t particularly nice being opposite the large bus terminal, but you soon move away from the immediate area into the city. Hotel room was perfectly fine, clean, reasonable size and good bathroom. Front desk was helpful when we needed to ask anything. I would recommend this hotel.

Hi Waveney we are looking to go t9 NY at some point next year. This hotel always seems to pop up. Can you remember what the extra charges were ie daily resort fee / taxes were please?
Thank you |

We stayed there a couple of years ago and totally agree with Waveney. Would definitely stay there again. Didn't have any extra charges to pay.

We stayed there a few years ago and it was very nice, with friendly staff and a good central location.
We paid extra for a higher room with a better view.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It was a good hotel. Rooms were small but well appointed (small hotel rooms are normal in NYC anyway). Staff were friendly. It's more a boutique hotel so doesn't have lots of onsite amenities. Good location for exploring. As someone else said, the street it's actually on isn't the best, but that is not really important. There are other hotels on the street too, so plenty of footfall and felt safe.
Wouild recommend it.

We stayed here two years ago and it would be my first choice if we went back, it's in a great location, just around the corner from all the bars and restaurants of Hell's Kitchen and close to all the attractions in the other direction. Always felt safe even though as others have said the street isn't particularly nice. Hotel is quite narrow so there are only about 5 or 6 rooms on each floor which made it very very quiet.
