Zac George has so many amazing and brilliant dog training videos on you tube. They are really very very good. He has a brilliant way with dogs and his results seem very very good.
We’ve never used puppy pads, it’s just another thing they have to then I learn to go outside. We had a puppy pen in the garden a a used to put ours in that every hour or so, then give them a special treat when they went outside. But only use those treats for loo training so make them super special! |

He is a miniature golden doodle and is the most loving, friendly boy ever. Super easy to train too

I watched Victoria Stilwell, she was brilliant.
One thing to remember when training is to make sure all the family use the same word for the command. So that he won’t get confused Peanut butter is great, as is primula cheese, for training rewards. Very small bits, size of a pin head. We still use peanut butter for taking tablets, he can’t get enough of it... and he’s nearly 10 |

Another vote here for Zac George. Learnt loads from him and really enjoyed it as he documented just about everything from the day he pucked up his puppy - Inertia. She is now something like 18 months old.
He isn't afraid to show you when things don't work and how he learns from it. All the best with your new Pup! |

Thank you all very much, the Zac George videos look great, my 14yr old son spent last night watching lots, he is super excited to teach the pup tricks and manners!
Going to pick him up this morning, excited but so anxious too, prepared for this for such a long time and it’s such a worry hoping everything goes to plan, the main reasons we chose this breed was for its eagerness to learn and please and for how friendly they’re supposed to be (mother in law does not feel comfortable around animals).

I'm sure Mrs rcch knows but just as a heads up for others, make sure the peanut butter doesn't contain xylitol, an artificial sweetener which is toxic to dogs.

Xylitol (sometimes listed as sugar alcohol) and palm oil are the two things to avoid in peanut butter and any other foods you'll give your dog. The xylitol in particular, a very small amount can be fatal
