Do you sing much?

I sing quite a lot and my wife complains but I feel good for singing a range of songs some from West End Musicals to old peoples music like the Bee Gees and Barbra Streisand.

My neighbours have commented about my singing and have said they enjoy it (I’m sure they’re lying though). I also sing alone in my car (Mrs MH doesn’t allow me to sing if she’s in the car). A few years ago in my car I was singing along to Barbra Streisand’s ‘woman in Love’ which I accept is perhaps a bit odd for a bloke to sing along to, but I got so into it that I went into the back of a van that had stopped at a junction. Fortunately it was an old van so the bloke wasn’t fussed and I needed my bumper repaired.

So who in my dibb family likes to sing (alone or in front of others)?

I sing mainly in the shower and to my granddaughters but that’s it.
DH will sing to anything in front of anyone 😳 it doesn’t always sound good! 😂

Jane, your hubby sounds like my kind of guy because I have sometimes sung to staff in shops and restaurants. If I have been served by a really miserable/unhelpful person I quite often loudly sing the Ken Dodd song “Happiness happiness the greatest gift that I possess.’ Although it rarely makes them smile

We have a 3 year old in the house who can actually sing must take after my parents
And he loves to sing with us even if we are all tone deaf well his dad can carry a tune but that’s it
The minute he gets in the car he starts to sing

I sometimes sing the Freddy Starrs version of Jonny Cash’s song to my wife: “I keep a close watch on this heart of mine, I keep my pants up with a piece of twine, and if you say that you love me say that your mine, please be mine and pull my twine.”

Note: Sadly the twine never gets pulled

He actually sang away in a manger all on his own at the zoom nursery bubble nativity play hadn’t a care in the world doing it either ( not a dry eye in the house I have to say )

Yep, I always sing to myself. When I run with my earphones on I have had some crazy looks then realised I was belting out a song 🤣🤣

Yes I sing all the time. I’m rubbish, really bad, so I’d never do karaoke etc., but I sing to my self at home and in the car every day.
