BA answering call in 3 mins

Well I am very happy with BA this evening 😊I was looking again at prices for my Mexico trip in August. I’d only booked 9 nights originally. Well I noticed it would only be 51.00 extra for an extra night so taking my booking to 2,818.00. I gave the call centre a ring and a lovely guy who is Mexico mad, took my call. He cheered me right up saying I’ll probably get to travel. ( regardless of the reality, it’s something to cling to &#128514 and then said he’ll see what he can do with the price. Well after 5 minutes, I got my holiday for now 10 nights for 2,600.00 This included 100.00 change fee imposed by the hotel too he said, but it was free to amend the actual BA booking. I was very happy indeed

Glad everyone is getting through quickly, sadly I am not. I’ll try again tomorrow. Tried a few times today around lunchtime and couldn’t even get in the queue, told to try again later and then the call disconnected. However, we have been travelling with BA for a few years now, Virgin are charging ridiculous prices. We have had great customer service from BA and also great in flight service.

I called around 6.30 and waited around 20 minutes. Last year I think it was Stanley camel that advised not to pick any options to avoid being cut off and it worked

I got through really quickly tonight. Was browsing last night and couldn’t believe the price for 2 weeks at shingle creek from the 12-26th dec. including car and flights from Glasgow was a full £1000 cheaper than virgin, where we would still have to get to London and back.
They let us put a voucher towards it that has been for flights, so I’m delighted.
We have had a few dealings with BA ( who is our carrier of choice) last year and they have been fantastic each time.
