I am sticking to 1200 calories per day and finding it hard, in fact I had 1300 today because I was so hungry 🙈
I've been having an Exante shake twice a day which is the equivalent of about 400 calories. I have full fat greek yoghurt with blueberries and walnuts, or cherries some days. 2 poached eggs with Asparagus soldiers is another of my favourites. I have an evening meal of chicken/fish with plenty of green veg. On fast 800 you don't count the calories of green veg.

I'm planning on moving to 2/3 meals rather than using the shakes but it was just easier to start off with.
You do at least 2 weeks at 800 calories every day, but no more than 12weeks. I'm going to try for the full 12 as I have a lot to lose. Going well so far and not feeling too hungry. You have to drink lots of water!
After the 12 weeks you go to 5:2 and a Mediterranean style diet (basically high protein, low carb)

Well done to sticking to that, you are doing brilliantly!
I know 100% I wouldn’t stick to that, I am so weak willed.
My problem is that I diet for a week and expect to be slim ! I loose weight very, very slowly so it’s demoralising. I am not weighing every week this time and going off my clothes size than weight. I don’t feel like I have lost anything yet 😟

Yes, I hate that floridatilly. I eat healthy for a week and I am like - I am healthy eater, why I am not slim already? But I think for me the key is to keep the weight loss sustainable, particularly if you have over 10 lbs to lose and try to celebrate the good habits!
