Bye bye Disney but never say never

Over the years I been so so lucky been to Disney world 🌎 10 times and Disneyland Paris 3 but I don’t think in the next 5 years I get anywhere near Florida. If everything go as planned then over the next few years we be seeing more of the world. Last year was different but so enjoyable Cardiff Liverpool London loved all of them no flying no rush to catch a plane no 9 hour flights

This year with luck we doing London and 14 nights Vegas all being well there so much of Vegas we not seen

Next year I really world like to go to Amsterdam,Rome,Paris

If my life don’t change in major ways then in the coming years I love to see some major city’s inn the world :

Good for you. We are not at that point yet, we did a staycation in the Uk in October half term and we really didn’t enjoy it, so won’t be doing that again in a hurry. I would like to see some of the European hotspots, we might do them as short breaks. Been to Paris and Amsterdam on short breaks and really liked both.

I agree, it's a big world and I am up for going to lots of new places. We seldom do a park unless we holiday with the grandchildren children but love to spend time at the Gulf Coast beaches once a year. There is plenty to see and do without spending a day on the beach, we love Art Galleries, museums, markets and music.

I hope early next year we will go to the Maldives (first time) and hope to get to a villa in Cyprus this summer and a small boat Alaska cruise in autumn but everything is a maybe, I wait and see.

I drove up to Carlisle for the football and didn't appreciate how lovely the countryside is once you get past say Preston on the M6. It was this time of year and horrible sleety weather but even in those conditions and not leaving the motorway the scenery was amazing.

I vowed to go back and do a tour up the M6 and back down the M1 doing the Lakes and York.

We've been going to Florida for 40 years and the last trip was, perhaps, the best ever and would love to go back but there are so many more options, or will be once this horrible situation passes.

Joan and I haven't been to WDW since 2010 but we still like to visit Florida (for as long as our 74/75 year old frames can cope ) as we tour around a lot but hope that you and Maria continue to enjoy your future travelling adventures wherever they may be.

Look forward to your next travel updates.

Mick

Kevin. There is more to life than Disney & Florida etc so I admire your future plans. I hope they all work out for you as there is a big World out there and so much to see.

Sometimes I hanker for the road trips I did back in the 1970's and 1980's when I would just disappear for 4 weeks at a time n a hire car and go to loads of the different States. Good days but not for me any more.

With regards to Europe I have never been there apart from business. No real intention to either. Prague looked ok but I was working for the week I was there so only saw a bar in the evening!

Fingers crossed your Vegas trip works out.
