19 Years Later- Disney October 2017- Day 9- HS, Epcot Food and Wine and MK

Hi! So I didn't manage to keep up with posting every 2 weeks sorry and I know I need to catch up on replying to comments too! The littlest one I nanny for started school this month (I've looked after her since she was 10 months old, it was emotional!) so I now have 10 hours off a week when I'm not working during the day and yet I'm busier than ever! I worked a 14 hour day last Friday! But I'm halfway done with the writing for day 10 already and 2/3 done with completing my Disneyland Paris report!

Today was a really busy one! I hope you enjoy reading!

Day 9- Monday 23rd October 2017- Hollywood Studios, Epcot Food and Wine Lunch, Boma Dinner and Magic Kingdom!

We woke up at 7 today. We were back at Hollywood Studios this morning but it wasn't extra magic hours so we weren't leaving quite as early as the day before.

We had breakfast out on the balcony which consisted of our leftover desserts from Homecomin' which we'd put in the fridge. I couldn't let the rest of that amazing hummingbird cake go to waste!

Mum and Dad were joining us as at more normal hour so stayed in bed this morning.

We got dressed and ready and left the room at 7:50.

My dress was from Hot Topic and my ears were made by Modern Mouse Boutique in Etsy

It was pretty grey out today but still warm and it wasn't raining so that was good!

When we got to the bus stop at 7:55 Hollywood Studios wasn't even on the wait times board but thankfully one turned up at 8!

It had already been to Kidani Village but was actually fairly quiet which was nice!

We arrived at HS at 8:20.

DSC09792 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

Bag check also wasn’t too busy today. We hoped this meant we were in for a quieter morning!

When we reached the lines for the tapstiles the line for the annual passholder entrance was actually longer than the one we were waiting in! Although typically one guy who was waiting alone ahead of us was later joined by the other 5 members of his family!

Donald and Daisy came out to say good morning!

They got the family of the day to open the park at 8:30.

We’d ended up in line again behind lots of people who had forgotten which finger they needed to scan.

Also we noticed that a lot of people tend to hold their band against the Mickey head for ages before scanning their finger when all you need to do is tap it once before putting your finger down. It's a little thing but adds up when lots of people do it.

Once we made it through they were holding everybody behind a rope just in front of Starbucks.

DSC09797 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC09798 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

Somewhere over the Rainbow was playing which is one of my favourite songs!

They dropped the rope at 8:50.

We were starting with Rock 'n' Rollercoaster this morning (I know, how brave of me haha) as we didn't have a fastpass for it today.

DSC09804 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

It was listed as a 5 minute wait when we got there but we pretty much walked through the line. They didn't even make us stop for the pre-ride video.

There was a short line on the other side but we still made it on before 9!

In some ways I prefer this! Less time to think about it and less time to stand watching the limos shoot off at 60 miles an hour!

The song playing was 'Livin' it Up'!

I hate the start of this ride categorically. I really didn't think this would be the part I hated the most but it is!

STUDIO_ROCKNRCOASTERRIDE_20171023_8114966712 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

The more times I go on it the more times I get used to the inversions and dare I say it almost enjoy them! Not this particular time but when we went on it in Paris recently I really didn't find the inversions that bad at all. I mean don't get me wrong you won't find me riding the Hulk coaster at Islands of Adventure anytime soon but small inversions like this are manageable for me I've decided!

We finished shortly after 9 and had a look in the gift shop after.

They were playing 'Dream On' which is probably my favourite Aerosmith song so I was happy to listen (and tempted to sing along )!

We walked back to Hollywood Boulevard after as we weren't meeting Mum and Dad until 9:30. We had some photopass pictures taken with Tower of Terror in the background!

We also popped back to the shop we went to yesterday that sold the Ariel homeware range as I had changed my mind about the decision I'd made to only buy 1 thing from it. I couldn't possibly leave the beautiful trinket box behind! I'd find a way to get it home hehe.

Lauren also bought a couple more Christmas bits! She bought the Christmas Minnie Mouse Plush and the cutest hoody which I ended up buying too the next day too as it was just too adorable! We had already bought Christmas jumpers this trip but the hoody was just too lovely to leave behind!

I think the hoody was around $65 and the Minnie Mouse around $30.

We headed over to Toy Story Mania at 9:25 as this is where we were meeting Mum and Dad for our first fastpass.

They arrived just before 9:30 and we went to scan our magic bands!

It was still only a 15 minute standby wait so we literally walked on in the fastpass line.

I rode with Mum today so I won which never happens when I'm playing against Lauren!

DSC09873 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We finished at 9:40 and split up to get drinks! Lauren and Dad went to Sweet Spells for goofy glaciers. They used 2 snack credits but I don't have a note of the cost OOP. Mum went to Joffrey's for a vanilla iced latte, she used 1 snack credit but it would have cost $5.75 OOP. I went to the Hey Howdy Hey stand just opposite TSM for a frozen coke only today I decided to mix it up (literally ) and get a coke and wild cherry mix today! I used a snack credit but it would have cost $4.57 OOP.

Mine was amazing! The Cherry made it even better than usual! Is this stand even still there now Toy Story Land has opened?! Someone please tell me I can still get a Wheezy's Breezy Freezy somewhere in Hollywood Studios!

We all met up again on Hollywood Boulevard at 9:55.

We had a fastpass for the Frozen singalong from 10-10:15 which we needed to get to but the March of the First Order was starting at 10 and as we'd mostly missed it yesterday due to the stage not being up we decided to stop and watch now instead.

The stage was back up today so the March would be happening as normal with the Storm Troopers lining up in front of the stage and walking forward towards the crowd.

We'd had the perfect spot for that yesterday but of course those spots were all taken by this point so we watched from a little further back today.

When Phasma and the Storm Troopers had gone we carried on towards the theatre.

DSC09906 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We scanned our fastpass at 10:10. As we were using it towards the end of the fastpass time there was already quite a lot of people in the theatre but we still managed to get good seats as they stop fastpass people about 2/3 of the way along the rows!

When they let in the non-fastpass guests one man was loudly announcing how they were going to make us all move because we hadn't walked to the end of the rows. He was wrong.

We love this show! It would be easy to put it down as just a sing song of frozen tunes but it is so much more than that!

The highlight for us as always was the Royal historians Erik and Aria who lead the show!

Some of our favourite jokes were when Aria said "a wise women once said love is an open door" and Erik replied "Oprah? It was probably Oprah!". When one of them said "Can I just say something crazy... I hope fidget spinners are around forever". When Aria hugged Kristoff and said it was her new happy place! Icy the problem, snow-one trusted her and when Erik did a Yoda impression and said in a galaxy far far away and then told us he went rogue on that one haha. The Fjord escort joke still makes us giggle too.

It is scripted and some of the jokes are the same but they do always add in relevant updates I.e. fidget spinners and Rogue One!

Even Dad likes this show because of the jokes and he hasn’t even seen the film! I think they did a brilliant job to create a show that is enjoyable for both children and adults!

We finished here just after 11 and stopped off at the rest rooms next door.

We had a fastpass for Star Tours so we headed there next!

DSC09944 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

The fastpass line was fairly long when we got there so we didn't get in until nearly 11:20.

The cast member checking seat belts made us laugh as he told adults to supervise their children and children to supervise their adults as they're the ones that usually cause more problems hehe.

We loved this ride as always and had an ending we'd not seen before which was cool! I love that you can ride this so many times and it's still different!

Carrying on with the Star Wars theme when we finished here we hot footed it back to the stage in front of the Chinese theatre to watch the Star Wars show!

As the stage had only just gone back up overnight this was the first chance we'd had to see it this trip!

We were really glad we'd managed to fit it in as they'd added some new scenes from Rogue One to the video on the screen! Rey also appears in character as part of the show now too which is awesome!

I'd love it if they added Jyn Erso too as she's my favourite female Star Wars character but as even Leia, Luke and Han aren't in it I doubt she will be. I guess it’s hard to find people who look like the characters.

It finished at 11:45.

We weren't having lunch here today as we had other plans! We were hitting the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot again!

After a quick stop for some photopass pictures we exited Hollywood Studios and walked over to the boat dock!

STUDIO_HBTAILOR_20171023_405752127417 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We got to the dock at 11:50 and the boat arrived at 11:52!

They had to unload someone in a wheelchair first and then once we were on they waited a few minutes for the boat to fill up a bit.

DSC09996 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC09997 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We left at 12. I love getting boats to places in Disney! This ride is lovely and goes around all of the Epcot area resorts and is a nice way to get a glimpse of them close up if you're not staying or eating there.

After stopping to drop at the Swan and Dolphin the boat then went on to the Yacht and Beach Club which is where we got off.

After dropping here the boat then goes on to the Boardwalk to let people off before going on to Epcot so we decided it would be quicker for us to walk from Y&B up to International Gateway!

We were starting where we'd left off on our first visit to Food and Wine today.

Our last booth had been Germany (not including Light Lab the night before) and today we were starting at the next booth along on our list, India!

DSC00029 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00031 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

As we'd expected, the lines were a lot longer than on our first visit where we'd started eating at 11! It was closer to 12:30 now so right at the lunch time rush but it was hard trying to fit in enough visits to Food and Wine so this was just how it had worked out.

We got in line at the India booth. It smelt amazing!

While we waited, a couple up ahead were arguing at the register while paying as they couldn't remember what they'd put as the pin for their magic bands! The guy actually said loudly "but we use 1986 for everything"! I'm hoping they kept a tight hold of their credit cards after (or had left them at the hotel hehe).

They eventually worked out the pin and didn't reveal this one to everybody behind hehe.

We ordered 3 of the Korma chicken dishes to share between us!

DSC00033 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We also got a bottle of water in case it was spicy.

We used 4 snack credits but it would have cost $18.75 OOP.

Despite it being a bit busier we managed to find a table no problem (the tall tables with no chairs again).

The korma was nice but we had mixed opinions on it. Dad and Lauren both really liked it while Mum and I were a little more on the fence.

It wasn't really like the kind of korma you get from takeaways here as it wasn't as creamy and was a bit spicier than we are used to.

I also thought it needed a bit of rice with it to soak up some of the sauce.

It wasn't bad though and as I said Lauren and Dad both thought it was delicious!

When we'd finished eating we moved on to the China booth! We were really looking forward to this one!

DSC00037 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00039 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

Again there was a line but it wasn't too bad. We waited less than 5 minutes.

We ordered 4 of the Bao Buns with Beijing Roasted Duck in Hoisin Sauce as we knew we wouldn't want to share this hehe. We also ordered 2 of the pot stickers.

DSC00043 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00044 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00040 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00046 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We used 2 counter service credits rather than 6 snacks but it would have cost $34 OOP.

We found a bench free nearby so sat there to eat our yummies!

These did not disappoint! We really enjoyed both the bao buns and the pot stickers! We would definitely get these again!

DSC00047 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr
The Vikings were out I Norway!

Next up was Mexico. Lauren and Dad had been planning to share the rib-eye taco here but changed their mind as they didn't want to fill up too much.

DSC00048 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00049 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

Lauren had a quick check on My Disney Experience at this point to see if she could get us a 4th fastpass for Magic Kingdom tonight.

She managed to get us one for Big Thunder Mountain for after the fireworks as the park was open until 11 tonight. We love riding BTM in the dark so that was a result!

They said there would be a few minutes wait for this but we only waited 2 in the end.

This was so delicious! Probably one of my favourite dishes we tried!

Sadly they've taken this off the menu at this year’s festival which is a shame as it was so good!

I had wanted to try the beef empanada from Patagonia but decided to give it a miss as well so as not to fill up too much.

Lauren and I ordered a Kalua pork slider each with sweet and sour Dole pineapple chutney. Mum and I ordered the passionfruit cheesecake with macadamia nuts to share!

We'd had pretty high hopes for the sliders as we'd heard good things about it but they were a bit disappointing. I liked the sweet and sour flavour but the pork was quite chewy. It was an ok dish but not one of our favourites.

The passionfruit cheesecake however was incredible! It was creamy and delicious with a pool of sweet passionfruit curd on top! The macadamia nuts cut through the sweetness a little. Overall it was a great dessert!

We went to the Islands of the Caribbean booth next!

As far as theming goes this one would surely win as the whole area around it was beautiful!

This is a puff pastry dessert filled with sweet cream cheese and drizzled with guava sauce! It was incredible!

It doesn’t look like much from the inside but it was delicious!

I wouldn't share it again let's put it that way! I'd want one all to myself! This was one of my absolute favourite things from Food and Wine!

We used 2 snack credits but it would have cost $8.25 OOP.

We still had a couple of booths left on our list for today but Mum and Dad were both too full. I probably could have managed another dish or 2 but we were having dinner at Boma tonight so we wanted to save room for that!

Mum and Dad bought one of the big plastic boxes to fill with the chocolate squares. This cost $20 before tax. I don’t have a picture sorry.

While I picked up one of the smaller golden boxes which cost $12.50 before tax.

I liked the gold box as it had Ghirardelli written on it and came with a cute cardboard Food and Wine slip to go around it! Only I filled mine with so many chocolate squares that I couldn't squeeze the lid down far enough to get it on hehe but the cast member serving let me take the slip anyway.

As we were walking past the monorail entrance we spotted someone we recognised, a cast member called Tim who we know as Tigger Tim on Instagram.

We stopped and chatted for a while! He works on the monorail, what an amazing job!

I cropped a screenshot of this from Instagram so its not great quality

It was so nice having a Disney chat!

Tim had to get back to work so we said our goodbyes and carried on towards the bus stops.

Our bus arrived at 2:35 and we were on our way back.

The journey however wasn't without a bit of drama.

There were 2 kids who kept messing around, standing up and swapping seats and just generally being silly together.

The bus driver had called back a couple of times and asked nicely for people to remain in their seats.

However after we'd dropped at Kidani Village and were on our way back to Jambo House they continued to do it (while their parents ignored them).

The driver stopped the bus and got out of his seat and told them in a stern voice but in no way shouting or inappropriate that he had asked them to sit down twice now and they needed to stay in their seats for the safety of themselves and everybody else on the bus!

In our opinion he was absolutely within his right to do this. If someone is injured during his bus journey he's going to be the one answering questions about it.

We actually have experience of this having witnessed a child injure himself on a Disney bus a couple of trips ago.

In that instance 2 children were swinging from the bars of the bus while the parents ignored them in favour of their phones. One of the children bumped his eye and the whole bus had to be evacuated while the paramedics were called.

The mother was absolutely baying for blood trying to blame the bus driver rather than her own lack of parenting. The child was absolutely fine and the paramedics left the bus shortly after looking fairly annoyed that they'd been called out for nothing as the child wasn’t in need of medical attention and I'm sure it was the mother hoping for some kind of compensation for the whole thing but who knows.

Anyway today thankfully no child was injured but had the bus driver not taken charge of the situation and told them to sit down then they may have been.

As you can imagine this mother was also seething that someone had told her precious darlings what to do. Perhaps if she had been paying attention and disciplined her own children with regards to rules that keep them safe then the bus driver wouldn't have had to.

We just knew she was already building up her story to go straight to front desk to complain!

When we were off the bus we could hear her going on about the bus driver shouting at the kids and how dare he.

Well he didn't shout at the children and we couldn't let her go off to complain about him with things that weren't true.

Sure enough as soon as she was in the lobby she went straight to the nearest cast member to spin her tale.

So we waited until she finished and was walking away and then Dad went over to tell the cast member what had actually happened and the bus driver had only acted in the safety of the children and other guests and hadn't once shouted.

While Dad was talking an American lady from the bus came over to us to say that she was so glad he had gone to speak to the cast member as she had been planning to do the same to defend the bus driver!

She was lovely and we had a good chat! She did make us laugh though when she said she thought the parents should have told the kids to stop being little s***s haha.

Dad came back and said that the cast member had smiled knowingly and said responsible parenting does occasionally go out of the window at Disney. I wonder how often they get mamma bear types coming in to complain about their children being asked to follow the rules in Disney?

We eventually got back to the room at 3:30.

The others had a sleep while I sat out on the balcony again and watched the animals!

They got up at 4:45. We had originally been planning to go down to the pool for an hour or so but unfortunately it was raining out.

Instead we decided to get ready and spend some time exploring the hotel! It really is such a beautiful atmospheric resort!

We went to the Mara at 5:45 to fill up our mugs and then took them to sit in the lobby!

DSC00188 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We just sat soaking up the atmosphere and theming! It was a lovely way to spend half an hour!

Lauren and I went to pay off some of our room charges over at the concierge desk.

The people in front took absolutely ages so it took a little while longer that we'd thought it would.

Eventually it was our turn though and we paid off our most recent charges.

Our reservation for Boma was at 6:40 so we spent a little while longer relaxing in the lovely lobby!

We headed down the stairs towards the restaurant at 6:35 and we were called over bang on 6:40!

We had a table in a similar spot to where we'd eaten breakfast the other day which was away from the hustle and bustle of the buffet so that was nice!

The buffet area felt really busy tonight! I managed to snap some photos again though, I have no shame hehe.

A couple of our favourite buffet items from last time weren't there tonight. They change the items based on the days of the week apparently so I think we just picked the wrong night tonight unfortunately.

The rest of the food was still really good though and as always there was still so much to choose from!

The bobotie had been a little disappointing at breakfast and it wasn't that great tonight either. I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe or something as we used to love it!

2 of my favourite things were the fufu (sweet potato and white potato mix) and the coconut rice! I had a second plate of these as they're so delicious!

The Mac and cheese is also always really good here! It's proper nuclear coloured mac and cheese that probably has no nutritional benefit but is really yummy! Not so much an African flavour but still.

Lauren had a second plate too with some of the breads and hummus they serve here at dinner.

I also tried one of the soups!

DSC00256 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

On to dessert next. Normally my favourite part of any meal but I have to say it didn't really blow me away tonight.

It was all good don't get me wrong and there are plenty of things like cupcakes and cookies here that you can't go wrong with.

My favourite item was the guava panna cotta! That was absolutely delicious! It was actually the thing I thought I’d like the least so that was a pleasant surprise.

The Oreo tart was nice but not as good as I was hoping as I love Oreos.

The apple crumble was also nice but I prefer the bread pudding I've had here in the past, that is amazing!

It was all nice but I didn't feel like I was desperate to try any more of anything apart from the panna cotta.

Again I think maybe we just picked the wrong night as it was a good meal but we missed some of our favourite items!

We used 4 table service credits but it would have cost $183.18 OOP, I haven’t made a note of what we tipped but from memory our server was pretty good.

We finished here at 7:20.

Lauren and I were heading back out tonight to watch Happily Ever After but Mum and Dad were going to stay and have some resort time.

We headed back up to the room to change. We felt really tired and lethargic tonight and it was a bit of a struggle to find the energy to get up and go again.

I don't know if it was because we'd just eaten a huge meal or because of how busy we'd been in the morning or just because it was already dark out but it was kind of temping to lie down on the beds and have a little nap!

Of course we didn't though! We changed in to some more Magic Kingdom suitable outfits, a tangled themed t-shirt for Lauren and a Sleeping Beauty inspired outfit for me, and left the room at 7:45.

It felt weird sitting at the bus stop in the dark going out for the evening as in August it doesn't get dark until much later!

Thankfully we didn't have long to wait as the bus arrived at 7:51!

This was one of our best bus rides ever as rather than the normal voice over (which we love too) there was a Halloween version!

It of course started with... Welcome foolish mortals!

Once the voice over had finished it played Halloween songs for the rest of the journey! It was awesome and definitely woke us up from our lethargy and got us in the mood for a night at Magic Kingdom!

We also saw the Star Wars fireworks over at Hollywood Studios in the distance as we were driving.

We arrived at 8:15.

We were through bag check and the tapstiles at 8:20 and headed straight to find a spot for Happily Ever After!

As there was only 40 minutes until it started it was already pretty busy!

It's really hard to know who to stand behind as you just don't know who is likely to pull out their phone and hold it above their head or who might hoist their child up on their shoulders in front of you. It's kind of pot luck really.

We managed to find a fairly good spot but of course the cast members make everyone squish forward as far as they can to make room for more people around the hub so we ended up near a really tall guy but tried to keep to the left of him so we could see ok.

It was also really humid with everybody standing so close together and the wifi was slower than I've ever experienced at WDW with so many people using devices to entertain themselves while waiting.

We were 72 hours away from flying home . This meant that as Virgin flying club members we could select our seats for the journey home already. As we hadn't paid to book seats I wanted to get the seats requested as early as I could so that we'd be sitting together at least hopefully. It took me ages with the slow wifi but I did manage it in the end!

The fireworks started at 9 and what do you think was the first thing that happened. The tall guy in front of us lifted up his massive phone in the air to film it!

It is so annoying! It was just a sea of smart phones and it's so sad. No parents watching their child's reaction and half the people watching it through a screen.

It did spoil this viewing of it a little unfortunately as there was just no escape from the screens and the guy in front was completely unaware that he was blocking anyone's view.

I came to the, probably immature, decision that if someone holds up a smart phone in front of my face I would sing very loudly in to their video. Not loud enough for other people to hear but hopefully loud enough to be picked up by a phone.

Yes it was childish but this guy was just so selfish. It wasn't just him don't get me wrong but he was directly affecting our viewing experience.

I mean seriously!

42993665_251714512199192_4722282895178203136_n by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

I've said it about a hundred times now but it really is just so unnecessary to film it these days as there are videos all over YouTube, some with amazing quality footage taken on something better than a smart phone. But also if you are going to film it, hold the phone in front of your own face and not someone else's (whenever I've filmed things before I've always held it at chest height and angled it up although I suppose the issue now is people want the footage of the castle projection) or waving in the air above your head, it's just obnoxious.

Rant over! The fireworks were still absolutely beautiful and the music amazing!

DSC00304 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

Once they finished we headed straight up to Fantasyland towards the Tangled restrooms as we wanted to get the Lantern photopass picture taken!

This can get pretty big lines but straight after the fireworks there was only a few people waiting!

We felt so much calmer now we were away from the fireworks squish and smart phone brigade.

Soon enough it was our turn for the picture! This is such a cute photo opportunity!

This isn't so much a magic shot as they have an actual lantern prop rather than adding it in digitally.

It is taken in front of the lanterns hanging outside the restrooms! You can see why it's such a popular photo opportunity!

Lauren had ordered us each a super cute glow in the dark custom Peter Pan button from. These are amazing! You have to charge them though with a light so we must have looked like crazy ladies holding our phone torches up to these badges haha it did work though and the buttons looked amazing!

When we finished here we headed up to Big Thunder Mountain to use our fastpasses!

DSC00309 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

It was only a 10 minute standby wait so we walked on with the fastpasses!

We also got the back row!

BTM is already more epic in the dark and the back row always makes for a more thrilling ride so this was the perfect mix!

It was awesome as always!

We finished here around 10.

DSC00310 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

We decided to go on Haunted Mansion next! It was a 15 minute standby wait.

It was a little cooler out now but still a bit humid.

While we waited next to the graveyard Lauren went on MDE to get us another fastpass now we'd used our BTM ones.

She got Buzz's Space Ranger Spin for 10:30!

We entered the stretch room just before 10:15.

Even though the ride is always dark inside it somehow feels more creepy knowing you're riding at night!

As soon as we finished here we walked over to Tomorrowland for Buzz.

We decided to go on the People Mover next!

Progress city!

We finished at 10:55 and decided we'd try and get on one more ride before the park closed at 11!

The teacups were nearby and we hadn't been on them yet this trip so that was where we headed.

As we reached them we spotted a cute photopass opportunity! Similar to the Tangled lantern picture they had a light up Alice lantern like the ones that hang in this area!

It was so cute and we'd never seen it before so we didn't know if they were just trialling it.

It was now 10:58 and we couldn’t decide what to do, get the photo or go on the ride.

We chose the ride in the end hoping that the photopass pass photographer might still be around after.

We walked on to the teacups! I like this ride but Lauren does love to make it spin really fast!

We finished just after 11 and unfortunately the photographer had left so we couldn't get the picture which was a shame as we never saw it again. Hopefully it’s still around next time we go.

We walked back down to Main St. They were already playing the kiss goodnight which seemed quite early as normally they wait half an hour or so after park close.

We saw Brett, guybehindthemagic on Instagram, and stopped for a chat!

We then strolled down Main St getting some castle pictures and enjoying the atmosphere! It's always nice not to rush out!

Sadly I don't have a picture of Lauren's as it was really cute!

We started eating them as we left at 11:40 and went to wait for the bus.

DSC00335 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

DSC00336 by Aimee Disney, on Flickr

One turned up at 11.45 so we didn't have time to finish our treats.

It was really cold on the bus!

After dropping at Kidani Village first we eventually got back to Jambo House at 12:10.

We walked back to the room quietly as it was nearly 12:15.

Some people didn't have the same manners as us though unfortunately as they were stomping through the corridors chatting and laughing at the top of their lungs. Grown adults.

I know 12:15 isn't late late but there are people with young kids and those that have only just arrived who may well be asleep at that time. Again it's just having a bit of thought for those around you isn't it!

When we got back to the room Mum and Dad were just going to bed.

They had brought a packet of trail mix to share while they watched tv. They used 1 snack credit but it would have cost $5.89 OOP.

We got changed and ready and eventually went to bed at 12.30.

Thanks for reading x

“Don’t tell my children what to do!”
“Well love, if you told them then I wouldn’t have to, would I?”

Another great day. I hope they still have the bao buns for F&W next year, they look delicious! It’ll have been 4 years since I was last there for F&W when I go and this time? I’m armed with snack credits!

Hope you have an amazing time on your upcoming trip too!
