2 Years Ago Today We Lost Geoffa. Where Has The Time Gone

Exactly 2 years ago today I had a phone call from another Dibber telling me we had lost our great friend Geoff. He was a Dibb stalwart and an individual who gave so much help to those on here with their trips, general advice and acts of kindness.

I was thinking about him the other day and how in this time of tragedy for so many people Nationally and on here he would have been the first person to offer comfort and help.

A sad Anniversary.

One thing that he said to me in a PM. "If you are replying to an unpleasant thread read it again and press delete if you think it will feed the previous unpleasantness"

Great guy-used to chat about Lego with him

I remember when he made that mosaic of his face(think Darrin bought it for his birthday) with single bricks-don't think I'd have the patience and I LOVE Lego

I really miss his wise advice & his terrific trip reports. He did used to have great holidays/experiences.

Shows how the passing of time can be perceived differently, as my limited association with him was not good I'd forgotten about him, it seems longer than two years.

Sandra, sorry for the loss of your mother, bet you have some smashing memories.

We net him just the once at the grand day out in Blackpool. He was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Funnily enough I was thinking about him last week as well. He gave such useful information on here.
