Grey flooring.

We are now nearly coming to the end of decorating our living room..was started at the beginning of lockdown!
Thanks to everyone when I asked about grey paint ...there was so many to choose!..in the end we went for Mercury by Leyland Trade..with a Laura Ashley wallpaper..the room will have accents of ochre.
But I am stuck with the floor...at the moment it's a mid brown colour laminate..and was hoping to go for a grey laminate...but think it might be too grey.
Have also seen a very light wood colour that looks nice ..just cannot decide...what do dibbers have with a mostly grey living room?...thanks.

Polyflor Camero in Cambridge Oak parquet has lots of lovely grey tones in it but with being a wood effect will still add some warmth to an all grey room.
If your room is mostly grey with an accent colour then I wouldn't really recommend an all grey floor too, it will look too one dimensional.
I have the Cambridge Oak and it is gorgeous and really fantastic quality.

Mine is a kitchen/family room. Mainly grey walls and white cupboards. Grey sofa and grey wood floor set on 45 degree angle so it looks different.

We’ve got grey walls (Goose Down), grey flooring and a grey sofa . Black furniture and blue curtains, cushions and a rug with blue, ochre and green.

The picture below shows the walls and floor but we’ve since got the new sofas and rug.

Our whole house was grey when we moved in, every room - grey walls (quick bad paint job to sell we found out!), grey carpets etc. It was too much and I found it a bit depressing tbh.
I’ve spent 3 years getting rid of it all, introducing colour into our lives except for the kitchen which has grey marbled/quartz worktop and grey Amtico flooring.
The units are ivory though and we have coloured tiles

We have grey and ochre. We have a mid oak LVT in the kitchen and a grey carpet in the lounge if that helps you visualise.

I wouldn't have grey flooring and grey walls, too much grey. Our new house will have grey flooring so we will be keeping the walls white. I love the oak herringbone floor above. Although if you had plenty of other colour in your curtains, furniture, wallpaper then it might be ok but I would look at oak first, and if doing grey go light.
