Two new cooking firsts

Still craving my missed Greek fix made a vegetarian dish I had in Naxos last year. Gemista, stuffed peppers and tomatoes. Full of rice aubergine onions herbs and garlic cooked in a tomato sauce. It was really tasty.

Also had a go at Norfolk fair buttons to go with a lemon posset I made to take to my sisters yesterday. A traditional ginger biscuit that were often sold when the fair came at Easter.

They both look delicious. Never heard of the buttons - but that's just what they look like.

Love gemista. So fresh tasting. Eaten it a lot but never cooked it. You have tempted me 😏

That looks delicious. That's the same website I got the gemista recipe from.
