Apparently resale values going up again and ROFR started again

Just read on another forum, contracts are rising in price and someone has also just reported DVD snatching their contract on ROFR- not seen that in months.

Well I've got a very nervous wait ahead. Literally about to submit to ROFR with my first DVC contract at AKL. 160 points, loaded @$105 p/p. The news about them restarting has rather dampened my excitement 😑

I’m 3 weeks into the ROFR wait and I saw that news last night. For some folk to have waited for 6 weeks only to have the contract taken is rotten ☹️

We’re 30 days into ROFR today. I’m really hoping for some positive news soon. It’s only a small contract of 100 points so I’m hoping Disney won’t bother with it although it is loaded with 2019’s points which have been banked so maybe Disney will want it in order to get some points out of the system, who knows?

It appears the only contracts bought back where at Saratoga Springs and Old Key West. I am curious if there was ROFR on any other property.

Typically the sellers on the 100 point listings or less don't accept the low offers that maybe a 300 point owner at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West might accept so guessing you should be safe. But maybe you are the master negotiator and got a crazy low price on a 100 point listing. : )

There was a Grand Floridian contract that was bought back too. I also read in another post that an agent told someone they had buy backs at Animal Kingdom.

I presume you didn't have any buy backs on Friday, Jason? It will be interesting to see what proportion are going through vs being bought back.

Good luck everyone, I am surprised they have moved into buying back again so quickly given the cash position. They must consider it necessary to try and maintain Riviera prices.

We didn't get any waivers or buybacks yesterday. We are concerned about some of the Saratoga Springs listings that have sold. Interesting on the Grand Floridian.
