Warning- Poly Hotel Now Closed to Summer 2021
Just seen- Disney announced Poly main hotel will be closed until summer 2021 during which time they will be doing refurbs including the Grand Ceremonial House and rooms.
DVC remains open. I was wondering if they would close the main pool. It was meant to be opening in October. I did not want to risk being in a hotel with reduced facilities and refurb work going on, so switched my Poly Easter reservation to Boulder Ridge.

The monorail station is closing too from October. Pools are still open though.

Sort of not surprising given occupancy levels. I don’t think I’d want a DVC stay at a hotel where the hotel side isn’t operating ... I feel sure services will be less than normal.

Buses maybe? I mean I would expect to walk but I wonder if it might be considered ‘too far’ (? )

Looks like they are giving it a 'Moana' makeover- means nothing to me as I have not seen this film.

Hope they don’t Caron. As long as there was a pool open I wouldn’t move.

I would not get too worried- You can only do what you can do- if the availability is there you can move them if not they will have to stay there. It's a pain though at the moment for sure.
