50th Birthday Present Ideas

My husband will be 50 in a couple of weeks time.

I have bought him a car driving experience with 5 different cars.

My daughters (16 and 14) want to buy him something with their own money, but not sure what they could get him.

Obviously not too expensive as it will be coming out of their own money.

Anyone got any ideas please?

Does he drink? How about the making him a beer basket with various beers from around the world? I know you would have to purchase them but they could hand the money over to you. You could all go together and pick out different ones

What about a photo Book? Mix of photos from all the different holidays they've had - views, selfies, family shots?
Or the same kind of thing but a 2018 calendar
Memory items always make a great present. Plus they'll last forever

Why didn't I think of that Carol - you know what I'm like with my 1000s of photos. I think he would love that and the girls would enjoy doing it too!

Does he still have family that would have childhood holiday pictures? You could call it 'fifty years of holidays' or something
Would be a great project to work on.
Sarah was going to do something similar for Chloe's 18th with her dance pics but think she forgot

Yes, but I have left it too late as his birthday is in 2 weeks.

His Mum and Dad are hopeless on the computer so can't even get them to email them to me.

I think I will just get the girls to do photos of since they have been born with him and funny photos of them together.

Thank you for the idea x

Does your DH wear ties? For my DH 50th from DS I bought him a tie with an engraving on a little metal bit where you tuck the back of the tie. Sorry, don't know the technical term for that part of the tie DS decided what to put and DH loved it. I think it was from notonthehighstreet or somewhere like that. It wasn't too expensive either
