Your maximum wait times?
I got into a debate with my partner recently about wait times. For me I will not wait for anything that is more than 60mins long. Why? Because I don’t believe any experience is worth taking up an hour of the day in a queue and I’d rather be taking in the atmosphere and doing other things etc...
Having said that, I’m more than happy to rope drop as I’m not wasting my day missing out on anything else(apart from sleep lol) so that’s how I plan on tackling galaxy's edge and FOP (along with FP+) So, what are your maximum wait times? Or any general philosophies you stick to when it comes to rides at the parks?

30 mins wait time as displayed on the board or app is our max.
Any longer than that I start to class it as wasting my day.

60 minutes is my limit too, but even that depends on the ride. I'd never wait 60 minutes for It's a Small World for example! Rides that I've never done will tend to have a higher threshold than ones we've done already.

For something new thats a big attraction Id wait a couple hours (Ive never had to but I would have done so to experience Flight of Passage for the first time and I would for the Star Wars Resistance attraction)
Other than that for a repeat attraction that I really enjoy Id wait 45mins, anything else is 30 mins max. |

60 minutes for the headliners e.g Test Track, Rock n Roller, FOP
45 mins for rides we know we will enjoy e.g Pirates, Soarin, Safari, Kali River, the mountains. 30 minutes for anything else

It depends on the ride but generally an hour. I remember last time at universal the simpsons (for example)was 45 minutes and I didn’t bother as I don’t rate it. I’d wait 45 minutes for the mummy though

We won’t wait more than 30 minutes for anything, with the exception of any brand new rides, e.g. we will for Hagrids. We also don’t mind waiting at rope drop as it doesn’t eat into the day. We tend to find if something is over 30 minutes at one point, it will come down to below that at another point in the day/trip, but I think that might just be the case as we go during off peak seasons.

I defiantly agree it depends on the ride! I would never wait 60 mins for the small rides etc...but still anything more than 60mins whatever is still too long.
Two years ago FOP never dropped below 3 hours and I expect Smugglers run to be on par if not worse. I love Star Wars but I still shan’t wait, it’s not worth it. I’m just going to rely on a very early start on our first day to get there for rope drop.
