MK or AK After Hours?

If you were choosing, which would you do? To note: we are going to MVMCP one night so would that be sufficient to enjoy the rides with lower queue waits?
This is our first WDW visit.

both are more expensive though they do give you unlimited popcorn, ice cream and drinks.
AK has a lot less rides available but most probably go for FOP access and everest at night. Personally im not that wowed by FOP so would chose MK.

After hours events are generally quieter than mnsshp or mvmcp so it may depend on how busy that night is. however the experiences will be different

MK. Use after hours to ride. Go to mvmcp for the exclusive character meets, photo shots, parade, shows and fireworks. Rides are a bonus.

I have both booked for next month. However on our previous trip I picked one and decided upon AK. This was because we had never been to Pandora before and we really wanted to try out both rides, the tiering and limited additional FB availability during the day limited our ability to do this in regular days, especially as we were only there for five days.

On the other hand, there is loads more to do at MK,p after hours, but there is nothing there we have not done before and generally we have always been able to get additional FP at MK.
