Sixt car hire question June 2022
So I was lucky to book a Lux full-size SUV for our trip June 2022
14 nights collecting and returning to Mia. So first question is when I booked at just over £1000 only £50 more than a Tahoe in June 2021 with Sixt vehicle listed was bmw x7, Mercedes GLS or Cadillac Escalade and as you can imagine would be more than happy with any of the three. Have just noticed on booking form following a change of date they have removed the Cadillac and replaced it with a infinity QX80 ( Nissan Armada in a posh suit) I know Sixt don’t do collect at garage and you have to go to the counter can you reject a car at the counter? Has anyone had experience with this? Second question about SLI I have read all the threads about this and the majority say needs to be $1m but can’t fine anywhere although it does say it comes with SLI doesn’t say the value. Thanks for any help great fully accepted. Edited at 07:14 PM. |

Hi Jim
The car was booked direct with Sixt back in June 2021 just before they hiked the price like everyone else, and at the moment the cheapest priced 7 seater I have been able to find.I have access to many corporate hire car company’s and nothing is even coming close. I usually book with Alamo corporate but for our 2 weeks for a 7 seater it’s over 2k. The world has gone mad? So it looks like I will have to stick with Sixt for now and see if prices come down in the new year. Good luck finding a deal |
