And I find fitted sheets quicker to fold, maybe it's knowing the knack. Or, maybe, it is witchcraft

This is just my experience of my husband.

He can’t pick up anything left on the stairs. He walks around it or over it.

He also can’t find anything.

I however can’t put the bins out or catch frogs from the garden.

I too have a husband who could walk past anything on the stairs left to go up with the next person !

Mine can’t find anything either but then he doesn’t actually look. Asks me where it is first !

But he does catch spiders 🕷!

I actually can’t do a lot of things because I don’t want too, saying ‘darling but you do it so much better than me’ usually works. Another favourite is ‘I can’t do it with my tiny lady brain’

When she had her shoulder and then hip operation I had to put her clothes on and all she kept saying was don't you bloody dare.

I think Michael McIntyre once said women seem incapable of going in the loft, and tend to take the role of standing at the bottom of the ladder, being handed whatever items the man is retrieving.

Women can’t
- book anything to do with a holiday
- spot the difference between a genuine bargain and a supermarket marketing ploy
- put a spider outside
- tell a story only once
- shut the *** up when you are trying to watch something on the tele
- pack a suitcase or the car
- navigate to a new place
- work out when a meal will be ready


Men can’t
- operate the washing machine
- tidy anything
- put anything in the washing basket
- cook

My DH:

Can’t see the amount of “crap” that needs putting away around the house but can see how untidy the garage is and clean immediately.

Can’t see the pile of things that need going up on the stairs (this applies to the children too).

Can’t cook….but can when I’m away (funny that).

Can’t put empty packets/cartons/bottles in the bin, they must stay in the cupboard until a woman can do it.

Also can’t put beer bottle tops in the bin (but can put them in the cutlery drawer where the bottle opener is kept).
