Hertz 'Managers Special'

So I was researching car hire prices for 24th Nov to 8th Dec and most were coming up around £1000 or more!

I signed up to Hertz Gold (it's free) and when searching for rentals on my dates on the app the managers special rate was only £328! So I have booked.

The catch is you don't know what vehicle you will get but as its just me and my mother I am not too fussed for the price!

Just an FYI if anyone is travelling solo or with just 2 of you it might be worth doing for the price.

I've just come across this managers special as well on the Hertz website. Almost 75% cheaper than the regular rate.

Having looked at their fleet the lowest grade car they do is a Chevvy Spark. There are 3 of us travelling so I'm hoping 1 suitcase in the boot and the other 2 on the back seat.

Wouldn’t it be good if they actually had sheets over them and did a ‘big reveal’ when you arrive to collect it!😆

Costco have been doing the Lux small suv at around that price with Hertz so you may get one of those.

I've just found a small Lux suv - thank you. Saved about £700 by getting from Monday instead of the Saturday. Will have to get an Uber back the airport but small price to pay. £700 extra spends 😊😍

Is this the Hertz Gold Rewards? Ive signed up but seems to be just foe Europe and Africa, no mention of USA rewards. Do those prices include all the required insurance. I noticed a Hertz Hendrick Camaro for £1086 for 15 days Orlando in November and same price for 23 days out of LAX next March so im finding it a bit confusing.

we felt ours had the required insurances that we needed. I think you would need to check to make sure on each rental.
