Not prepaired to pay
After losing holiday in March 2020 & October 2021 as a family of 4, Im not prepared to pay the extortionate prices which are coming up. Been to Florida 7 times & it is our favourite destination for holiday, but these prices are ridiculous.
Anyone agree?

OP. There are some half decent prices out there. However I am shocked at how much Disney are charging for what I consider to be mediocre accommodation.
However it is what it is and the American middle class is awash with money so where there is demand they will keep raising prices. Supply and demand in action sadly.

We can only go in school hols and the prices for then are now crazy. We booked a flydrive early april for next april flying into Miami and got a good deal. If we hadn't we would not be going next year.

Plenty of bargains to be had offsite. The Disney bubble has become poor value. Some good flight prices out there you just have to be prepared to put in the leg work and pounce on any deals you find. Personally my next Florida break is coming in about the same as it usually does, but it took a whole lot more work

School holidays and flying direct, yes. Other times and/or being more flexible with routing, the deals are still out there.
Biggest hurdle right now is probably car hire, takes quite a bit of searching to find a good deal due to the new car shortage right now. Not much inventory available. I don't drive anyway so not personally affected, but I know others are struggling to find reasonable pricing on this. |

Sorry don't agree. There are plenty of deals to be had if you look hard enough.
It will be more expensive currently with testing etc and the current car hire prices.

Plenty of good prices. I was due to stay at a Disney Property however with all the extra charges for everything and the halt of other services I decided to move our stay to off site and got a great deal on a Hotel on I-Drive which'll make a change for us and we're quite excited about it. There's a wonderful world outside of the Disney Bubble which at present seems to want to grab our ankles, tip us upside down, shake us and sweep up what falls out. Vote with your feet I say!
Saying that we still have Ultimate Tickets for the two weeks 😂 Edited at 07:03 PM. |
