Car park trams at Disney

I know trams are still not running at the moment, is there any suggestion of when or if they will return?

One of the people in my party can't walk well and will be hiring a wheelchair at the parks, but walking from the standard car parking to the park will be far from ideal for them.

Interested in this too as if and when we eventually rebook we will need use of the trams.

To maybe answer my own question after a bit of googling, seems Disneyland have confirmed of the return to trams in 2022, for WDW there were trams being moved around in Epcot recently, and last month apparently had jobs listed for "Parking Operations Cast Members". So hopefully sometime next year.

Or you can buy that and a "restroom" stop as a package for $1.50!

You can park closer to the entrance for $45 a day. Avoids waiting for the Tram

Haha, aware of that, but I'm not going to pay $45 for parking, it's bad enough paying $25

When we were there in 2018 , we told the parking attendents we had a mobility scooter and they let us park near the entrance to the park.
