This happened to our friends last year on the last day of there holiday, two weeks before we where due to fly out! They had a 8 seater minivan. they had left the villa packed up and decided to go and do some last minute shopping.

Stupidly they left all there luggage and hand lauggage in the van!

When they came back they found there hand luggage had been taken and sat nav. Worst of all there passports had been taken and all travel info. They had to go to the british embassy and get emergency travel docs and just made there flight on time!

They lost mobile phones and sat nav money etc... it cost a lot of money to issue 8 emergency passports! The car naext to them also a 8 seater van had been broken into as well!

Needless to say we used downtoen bag drop off and did not let my bag out of my sight! I was like a woman possesd!

Can you give us any info as to where this happened? Glad all concerned are ok, all too often we hear of these sort of incidents turning out completely differently.

Oh what an awful thing to happen - really puts a downer on things
At least they are all ok - hopefully their holiday insurance will cover their shopping losses
Best wishes to them and hope they enjoy the rest of their hols x

when i was going the the local petrol station nr the florida mall, i was filling up with fuel, and some black geezer came up on a push bike & offered me a sat nav in exchange for $50
Needless to say ... i declined to offer and he went on his way !

some of the local residents there are just not quite all there are they ! ... the local police dept got involed when i mentioned it to the cashier in the petrol station, and were looking for this individual.

Just be aware, dont buy dodgy merchandise on petrol station forecourts ! lol

Awww, poor family! The tealeaves will take anything! I have to admit, we don't ever put the shopping in the car and go back out for more for this reason... We carry it around until we've had enough of carrying or we can carry no more
