Question August Florida weather - Cypress Grove

Hi everyone!

Like some brides-to-be on here I'm getting married in Orlando, at Cypress Grove in August next year.

Literally the only thing I'm concerned about is the weather. We are due to marry at 3pm, 6th August 2012 by a lake under a gazebo, but I'm worried the weather will be too wet/windy for us to have the ceremony there. Aparently there is a room we can move to in the cottage/house if the weather's too bad but I have my heart set on an outdoor wedding!

Has anyone had an August wedding there (particularly around 3pm)? What was the weather like?

Thanks guys xox

Hi,

We are also marrying in Florida, in August. If I were you I would consider an earlier ceremony. It may rain but probably not for long, my concern is the heat. Its so humid and the last thing I want is for my make up to be running down my face and the guests to be uncomfortable!

If not earlier is it possible for you to have a later ceremony, maybe evening?

At the end of the day its your wedding and you should do it when you want to just make sure you consider all the options.

Sure you will have a fab day whatever!
