Found a new (to me) car hire site

Hi,

Just thought id share my latest finding in car hire.

In the past used alamo brits, uscarhire and usrentacar and theyve always been cheapest for me.

Came across vipcars.com and got us a full sized SUV from Nationals for 16 days next april for £518 (next closest was over £700).

I did my research and they have loads of good reviews over several sites, come with all inusurance and free cancellation (which i used today as the price had dropped just shy of £60).

Also they give you the reference number straight away, so i went to Nationals web site and it all shows up as being booked.

Hope this is of use to some of you, or if someone has any horror storys of these guys please comment.

I have heard of them but that's about it. I know they offer Enterprise which I wouldn't touch.
But if the National booking is showing fine it should be ok.
Let us know how it goes.

Their reviews are poor. Lots of complaint about their fleet as well.
Mind you they are all as bad as each other!
Actually National has a great fleet as it caters to the business market more then leisure.

Hi Martyn, I took a peek for the one day/one way hire we need, VIP were £4.53 more than Budget for that one day after 8% Quidco cash back. VIP aren't showing on Quidco.

Thanks for the heads up tho... did you check Andy's prices on DFCH too?
