Lens hire

I’ve been looking at the cost of a decent 500-600 mm range lens for my Nikon but the prices are a bit much for me, so was looking to maybe hire one for the day or weekend.

Has anyone done this and could recommend a company please.

I haven't personally done it, but 2 companies that come up on an airshow photography site I'm on are:
lensesforhire/
and
hireacamera/en-gb/stills/lenses/

I'm in Glasgow and have used WEX photographic before. They have various outlets around the UK.

i've used calumet a few times in the past (back when they had a nottingham store)... i just checked, and they are now WEX, so i guess they will be fine
