First Time Advice: Disney/Lego/Universal

Hi All,

Looking for some advice on how to structure our upcoming first time ever/once in a lifetime trip to Orlando. It's me, DW and 2x girls, 10 & 4.

We're tied to when we can go – so plan is we'll fly and check in very late March 28 2020 to CBR, getting upgraded free DDP for a 14 night stay. Broadly speaking that gives us 3 days per park and 2 "rest" days at the water parks. Gotta fly home Thursday April 16th.

10 yr old is die hard lego fan and Harry potter fan, so want to do overnight in Lego hotel/2 days park and from looking at tactics, it seems 1 night/2 days in a Universal hotel with the included unlimited fastpass is the way to go.

So, essentially my question is, is there anything I should know about booking Legoland or Universal along the lines of waiting for free DDP for disney? And if you've any suggestions for how best to structure "stay 1 night in airbnb to then do 7am check in at Universal" to maximise benefits of onsite stays, that'd be really great.

I don’t think you’d find enough to do at Lego land for 2days to be honest and sometimes you can get a free Lego land ticket or much reduced with some of the ticket bundles

Agreed. We went for 1 day and we're bored to be honest, my boys were a bit older than your children (9 and 11) and although they are both Lego lovers they were unimpressed after being to the other parks.

We booked one night at hrh to take advantage of the front of line pass. We enjoyed it so much we did it again the second week of the holiday.
