That was my main worry, we have a decent limit on the card but there are 4 of us to use it on the bands for the fortnight. I assume if they debit every 5 days it will reset the hold amount but this being Disney who knows

No - this is what is causing the issues I think, the holds are not clearing. I know from when I've used UK hotels with my UK card I can see a hold last days after I've paid up at the hotel. I assume this must have been what's been happening here.
