The Baftas

Thought I would watch because I like Graham Norton but I’m finding it cringeworthy !

Why don’t the nominees prepare a few words beforehand just in case they win ? Then they could deliver a brief acceptance speech without gabbling, stuttering, giggling etc

Also why do the winners make a big song and dance about collecting the award ? Looking shocked, hands to face, collecting all their mates so there’s a cast of thousands on the stage for one minute ?

Edit: Jodie Comer - Perfect acceptance speech 👍🏻

Caught the end of it, I think it is funny to see the other nominees who didn't get, their expressions are priceless. It was nice to see so many awards for Killing Eve, sometimes it is the same old people get all the awards all the time.

Just shows what a good actress Jodie is, I had no idea of her real one until recently and was gob smacked !
I was dipping in and out of the programme, I can’t watch the whole thing!
Ben Cumberbatch looked very thin to me as well. I hope he’s OK.

I was thrilled to bits to see Jodie win, fantastic actress to be able to not only portray a character such as Villanelle in such a way that you both love and hate her but to accomplish all the foreign accents perfectly like she does . A down to earth Liverpool lass, a lovely acceptance speech , and a deserved winner who I hope we get to see a lot more of on our screens now .
