MDE app- so frustrating

the MDE app is driving me mad. Whenever I try and make changes it tell me "no"
- I wanted to cancel a reservation and it kept telling me there was "no internet connection". I went -on the same device - on to the Disney website and was able to cancel it
- I wanted to link a reservation- it told me "doesn't recognise the number" . Again, went onto the website and no issues, linked immediately - and then blooming well showed up on the app

Do I need to update the app or something or is it just rubbish?
Any tips for making it better?

It's driving me mad too! Won't show our fast pass plans & no magic band orders showing.

Mine keeps telling me it knows it crap at the moment so I should log into the website instead (in more Disney language!). So I guess they know they are having issues with it!
