In Orlando in June it's daylight until half eight. I've never yet been to VB... do they need to light the park in the evenings?

There's not even a comparison between the Disney waterparks and Volcano Bay beyond them both having water. Volcano Bay is streets ahead but then it's so much newer so bound to be.

Volcano Bay has great rides but I am not too sure of the location. Viewing lorries chugging out pollution on the I-4 is not ideal whilst queuing for the slides- I dread to think what the pollution levels are inside the water park!

Other cons at VB

$25 parking - free at Disney
Bus transport from car park to VB adds to the delays in getting in and out

Rides are really good at Volcano Bay and as it's all pretty shiny and new that makes it more appealing. The loungers are fantastic - everything seems a bit "posh". The staff are super friendly and are on hand to help with any questions. They really go out of their way to ensure you're okay which I think is great. Disney parks look a bit tired in comparison. They're still good fun but VB is better.
