What time does your plane from Orlando land and your plane from Atlanta take off?

If the plane is scheduled to land at 7pm and the next plane leave at 8.15pm then, in my eyes... and correct me if I am wrong, that is not a 1 hours 15 minute layover as boarding would start around 7.30am and need to be completed by 8pm for departure?

I may be waaaaaay off track here but it isn't like a bus or train where you can jump on 30 seconds before it is due to depart; there is a cut off time.

I would need 2 1/2 hrs minimum of the outward leg of the journey which hopefully would cover any delay and on the return leg I would be looking at 1 1/2 to 2 hour layover. Anything less than these times on layover. 1 1/2 hours outward I get myself into such a stew worrying about delays, and it would spoil the start of my holiday.

We land at ATL at 20.40 and the plane to LHR is scheduled for 21.55
So it really is 1 hour 15 minutes in total.

Should I be worried?

My dd is just back from Vegas with delta through a
Atlanta and she had 40 minute layover and did it with no problem. Delta gates appear in same area.

I have those same flights this July/August. I don't envisage any problems, just a quickish funny walk from one place to the other.

Atlanta connection

Have connected several times in ATL with no problem. It always helps me to check the airline arrival point and departure point and then look at the videos on youtube. These will walk you through the connection route.
