I'd had to ring them to make the booking as I was after two separate bookings for us and a friend who is coming with us, but wanted the bookings linked. This is almost what happened to me. I booked over the phone too. There was no mention of the extra $100 and i didn't know about it. It was just on our invoice when it came through!

It seems a bit hit and miss though.

I’m not sure it was available to everyone, someone mentioned on another thread it may have just been sent to people with previous bookings through Disney direct. I’m not sure though.

I got my email offer in early April and had to activate the offer before free dining was actually released

Not true - have never booked direct with Disney before or stayed onsite. Some people who didn’t even sign up for the offer got the extra $100.
