Nothing to do with age. Life's too short, if you want it, do it. Currently contemplating what my second one will be

I don’t have any myself, but wow, that’s so pretty. Love the shoes too! OP, I say go for it - again age is just a number. YOLO and all that! 😊

A Celtic dragon to celebrate my Welsh and Scottish heritage.
I’m thinking now of the maleficent dragon on the other leg

My eldest is like 🤦 Mums behaving badly again

That is a really good tattoo. They are very addictive though 😉

That’s gorgeous! I’m guessing the experience wasn’t too bad if you’re planning another?

Heck yes. Stay young and badly behaved! I love my tattoos, they are self expression and a tiny bit of rebellion lol.

To those asking about pain, yes it does hurt! That can range from a mild annoyance to 'I'm not sure I can take this'. The one of my wrist hurt the least and the one on my ankle the most when it was near the ankle bone. The closer to the bone, the more it will hurt. To me it feels like a really bad cat scratch being repeatedly dragged across your skin.
My coping techniques include chewing gum (clenching the jaw is supposed to help) and when its bad I count things, like the number of petals in a rose on the drawings pinned to the wall in the shop. Distracting yourself helps.

It was ok. It stings with a mild heat . In a bizarre way it made me a bit sleepy towards the end. Having all my staples removed was equally stinging and didn’t leave anything quite as nice !

The next day it did hurt. Like a giant graze or sunburn. But it’s ok now .

Definitely bearable For me.
