Any Sony Alpha shooters in here?

Looking to purchase either/both the new Sony A7iii and/or the not so new Sony RX100 V.

Any 'real world' pics from either camera, preferably Disney, will be be greatly appreciated in aiding me to persuade 'the boss' in spending that kind of money.

Thanks in advanced.

Can't give you any pictures to reference but if I was choosing between the two I'd be going A7iii. Crazy good camera for the price! I'm currently trying to decide what body part to sell to get myself one!

Went for the A7iii in the end. Got a good prime day deal, meaning I got the kit lens package for less than the body would usually cost on its own.
Now back to saving for the next WDW holiday!

Would love to see them anyway. I'll always envy the portability of that compact camera.

I hope Ive worked out how to upload these correctly. If so then heres a selection from my last trip taken on the RX100. Ive tried to show a mix of super bright shots, down to very very low light (Haunted Mansion) All of these were hand held.

Fantastic pics Andy, way to make me think I've made the wrong decision lol

Your photography really shows off what this camera is capable of!

Just a few more questions if you don't mind me asking. Were these shot in RAW? Which software do you use for editing? Any examples straight out of camera? How do you like the camera for shooting video?

They're great photos! Have they been edited at all or are those the original shots?

Thank you for the nice comments.

Yes I always shoot in RAW. I sell stock photos so RAW allows me to recover lots of details in shadows and highlights.

I use Lightroom and find it incredible. Yes I can post some straight out of camera but bear in mind they will be very flat without any editing of the RAW file. Will also be hard to judge on here with being so small so might be best to mail you some full Res if you like. The really low light stuff in the haunted mansion are obviously quite noisy but it's virtually pitch black in there and when I tried with my phone, I couldn't capture anything. Lightroom does a great job of reducing notice and creating more keepers.

I don't really shoot lots of video as stills are my thing but the 4k is incredibly sharp, though limited to around 5 mins. 4k also doesn't offer any stabilisation which is a shame but HD stabilisation is very good, as is the slow motion mode.
