I'd go with MK for as long as you last. You may well be done for the day by 6pm anyway depending how jet lag treats you. But the option to hop over to Poly for drinks/dinner is a good one if you've got enough energy. I wouldn't bother with heading over to Epcot for the fireworks though, I'd just watch Hallowishes from the Poly beach.

Park hours (other than MK on party nights) will probably extend just as an FYI. Mine were 8pm MK closures every night until about a month before, when they extended most of the days. They avoid publishing the longer hours until they have accurate crowd level predictions, as they only keep the parks open if crowds are high enough to warrant the operational cost.

Show times won't change once the schedule is set. The only thing they might do is add a second show later in the evening. Although this is more true for Rivers of Light (and occasionally Fantasmic) than the fireworks.

I think you’ll still be tired - I would get to the park nice and early and go through until 6 (we normally leave about 4 but are onsite) back to hotel and a nice meal out.

Thanks for help on this - first day I can book an ADR today so to update I have decided definitely MK for first day and I've booked the latest and only dinner ADR at Be Our Guest for 4pm - will feel like dining on an early bird special but figured we'll have been up and on the go so long hopefully it'll work ok. Planning to get to the park for 8am so figured by 4 we'll have had a full day. After BOG will see how we feel and either go to Trader Sams for a cocktail, disney springs or back to the hotel/idrive.x
