Italy no more!
2019... the year we finally were going on holiday to Europe instead of Florida (or occasional other US states)... son was keen on Italy. Fantastic... Lake Garda, Venice... Pisa, maybe Rome.
But DW was worried about Brexit... and found some relatively cheap prices for Florida... So guess what happened next? I only bleeding did it again. Oh well, there's always next year for Italy. Will just have to settle for the Italy pavilion at Epcot. So now for an intensive bit of planning & DIBBing. Only got till end of May! See you on the forums! Hey, I'm going to see Mickey!

We took our son to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast for his 21st. Absolutely beautiful place. You don’t know what you are missing

I spent 25 hrs in a van with 3 others to get to the almafi coast, stayed for 2 hrs then spent 25 hrs getting back to UK. That's the shortest holiday I've been on. Lol
|

DW and I spent first anniversary in Sorrento and enjoying the Amalfi coast, some years ago.
And now we'll be in WDW for our 25th. Ever thought you have been "played" by DW.  Of course, maybe I was happy to be played

We have recently spent an 11 day vacation close to Rome (visiting Lake Brachiano and the Italian Air Force museum).. with an overnight trip down to Pompeii in the middle of it.
We liked the Pompeii area that much that we returned for a fortnight in Sorrento (visiting Naples, Positano, Capri, Amalfi Coast, Herculaenium and Pompeii)... with a 3 night minibreak to Rome in the middle. The train between Naples and Rome only took 1 hour and 11 minutes! Without a doubt, we will return to both amazing locations.
