Not so, had it confirmed by Norwegian, agreed to refund via Expedia and refund on its way. My flights have already been cancelled on the APP.

Really wish this wasn't the case but its very real.

I've also been on live chat and had it confirmed that our flight will be an A330-340 Airbus. Chose Norwegian specifically for the Dreamliner

Yes due to the higher numbers of PAx and limited availability of the specialised airbridge at destinations

Whatever they do they get crucified... best for most on here that they throw in the towel now.
The we can concentrate on the next disaster for Florida bound PAX ... the cancellation of BA flights and their route to Fort Lauderdale

Shame about Norwegian, we had flights booked with them for next month but they changed the times and Airport. At that time (last year) there were a lot of rumours about their financial situation so we cancelled and got a great deal with BA so glad we did now. In an ideal world I would of wanted to fly the dreamliner with Norwegian but it's just not meant to be.

Not a disaster, as the yield was low, so nit Nancy using FLL, plus BA are offering a re route. Norwiegen has also pulled out of FLL, so I’m not sure where the “disaster” is

We like others had a great experience on Norwegian last year with a fantastic flight to Orlando on the Dreamliner and the service was second to none. We rated it as the best long haul to Florida we have been on in the 20+ times we have been visiting. Booked them again for this May to Fort Luaderdale (we go in 13 days) and since we booked them last year we have had the flight times changed about 3 times, destination changed to Miami and now carrier changed to Privilege Style airline (Spanish dated planes) with a couple of monitors overhead in the aisle with 2 films for 9 1/2 hour flight. That was the last straw for us so cancelled last night and rebooked a Virgin flight. We have paid in total £100 more but have taken away the stress that Norwegian were causing. It got to the point we where just going to turn up at Gatwick and ‘see what happens!’ You don’t want all that worry before your holiday.

I think the £100 is worth it for peace of mind. As I've previously said on here Norwegian appears good when all is working well but that doesn't seem to be the norm, so I will always pay more to go with BA to have the extra reassurance.

Looks like Privilege style is an ageing Boeing 777 with no inflight entertainment. There’s a review below from someone who got stuck with them due to another Norwegian cancellation this year and it doesn’t make good reading.

Don’t think you will have a problem getting Norwegian to refund you but fingers crossed you can find something with a decent carrier in the same price range.
I did contact them and they said I could get a full refund. It's a shame as I really like this airline and have used them a number of times now. But it looks like they are struggling and I am now looking for alternative flights.

Easy for some to knock the airline but unless you’ve had first hand experience it’s not really fair to comment. We found them excellent and I’ve got to say the customer service from Norwegian, even though we booked through a third party, has been brilliant, no quibble refund.

It’s such a shame as this whole thing is really not their fault, I hope the engine manufacturer compensates accordingly but I fear the “big boys” just want to see Norwegian off.
