When the kids were smaller we just took a couple of packets of biscuits and bought water at the airport just in case it was too late/tiring/much of a faff to buy the essentials for breakfast. There was always a drive thru to grab food from on the way to the accommodation, and could throw a couple of biscuits at them to keep them happy in the early morning before going out for breakfast.

As said before cereals are expensive in a gas station as is coffee, you could take them with you and just pick up the liquid stuff and the butter in the gas station.

We tend to go straight to the villa, dump the suitcases etc and one of us goes to Publix (just up the road from Tuscan Ridge) and grab essentials for the morning. We then go back to Publix after breakfast and grab the "stock" for the next few days.

We usually drop kids and my parents at the villa and then DH and I nip to Publix for a quick shop. We go out for breakfast the first morning and then everyone heads to Walmart for the first of many trips! Can’t wait 😊

Similar to others, we unpack quickly. Then off to Wal-mart for a shop. Then back food and bed.

In your case you are looking for a quick stop so as your first reply says go to a petrol station on route, that way you just run in pick up what you need they stock all you mention and more.

We go to villa first and drop everything then out to Wallmart.

I live very close to Rolling Hills. You could stop of at the Publix near Celebration or the Walmart on the corner of Old Lake Wilson Road. Personally Walmart would be my last choice for a quick stop as milk is all the way in the back of a huge store.

Rather than a gas station I would stop at the new CVS by 192 and Sherbeth Rd or the Walgreen on the corner of 192 and Formosa Gardens Blvd. This is on the right where you will be turning left to head to Rolling Oaks. Either will have everything you need for the first night.

Is there an option to have a grocery welcome pack on arrival from the management company for your villa? We have had this the first time we arrived in Florida as we were going to be very late arriving and didn’t know the area at all, so it was nice to have milk, bread, eggs, bacon, juice etc all ready waiting for us.

As others have said tho, you could take the basics (cereal, small juice cartons, tea, coffee) with you and grab some milk from a gas station on the way.

Bearing in mind you'll be closer to 11-12pm 'your time' - you'll be up at about 5am (Their time).
I find it's best to go straight to bed and get the shopping in the morning.
